Among my favorite things to do is create packaging from scratch. For the slik-stik mini, I designed the die cut as well as the print. Overall, this is a clean and minimalistic design that utilizes floral patterns, pinks, and blacks. You might see it in a local TJMAXX in your area. Keep your eyes peeled!

The Crimson Paddle Brush was a big seller at J&D,and needed a new look. Originally intended as a promotional holiday run, the new packaging for the paddle and round brush was kept for good! You can feel the warmth of the holiday season radiating from this one!

The other crimson "must have" of this past holiday season. The appeal of this box was the 3 sided window design to increase item visibility. Like I said before, coming up with fresh packaging is a favorite of mine.

SexyHair wanted to carry their own brand of J&D's mini straightening iron and required a prototype package. With only a logo to base a design on, I came up with this very fun looking package that would appeal to the proper audience.

A fun project where I was allowed to create the marketing concept as well design. In an attempt to make a product stand out in a very similar line, I went with the "in your face" approach. Using the name of the product, I created a very vibrant/retro look. The advertisement appeared in Launchpad Magazine.

The holidays always require a fresh look. I put together a cool colored holiday clamshell package for the Slik Stik line. The product looked absolutely fantastic in the clamshell with the appropriate graphics.

When we discovered we could create prints for the company flat irons, the graphics department jumped on the opportunity. I immediately mocked up what I thought would be instant classics, something you wouldn't usually see. They were a big hit in the industry.

One of my favorite projects of all time. Henry David Thoreau's novel Walking, is a genious way to combine wonders of literature with the natural beauty of the outdoors. Unfortunately the original jacket design doesn't convey that in the least. I tried to revamp it, and appropriately attract readers to this wonderful work.
