My name is Dan Berkowitz, welcome to my little niche on the web. Aside from traveling the globe, I have a strong passion for designing print, web and multimedia related materials.

I am currently living and working in Long Island, New York as a Graphic Designer. I'm obsessed with visual communication and fascinated by the influence design and technology have on our culture. In an attempt to keep up with all aspects of current design trends [which sometimes seems to be completely involuntary], I find my desk covered in art, products with interesting typography, unique packaging, magazines, and business cards. [I'm constantly cleaning up after myself.]

While working for J&D, I was asked to give their most prominent product lines a face-lift. I took a very elegant approach to the design process, while keeping it simple and modest. The lettering for Luxor was also altered to a thicker, more modern looking typeset. The client was very pleased with the outcome.
